Moberly Manor - Revelstoke, B.C.

Moberly Manor is available to seniors who meet Interior Health criteria for Assisted Living and require housing and assistance. Interior Health provides funding for personal care services to ensure that the health care needs of the tenants are met.

Opened in 2008, Moberly Manor is the only Assisted Living location in the Revelstoke area and provides housing to Independent Seniors.

At the time of it’s opening, Norman Embree, Interior Health Board Chair said, “Funding support services for people in assisted living makes good sense from a health perspective. It means that seniors can remain independent as long as possible, which keeps them connected to their communities and helps them maintain a healthy lifestyle.”

The City of Revelstoke provided the land for this project. “Revelstoke seniors need more options to live independently as they age,” said acting Mayor Matt Singh, City of Revelstoke. “By adding assisted living, we are taking one more step.”

Moberly Manor embodies the Vibrant Advantage™ philosophy which is about more than a private space, a schedule for services, and recreational programs. It is a combination of meaningful relationships, uplifting culture, social opportunities, shared ideas and interests. It’s a sense of involvement in the everyday life of the community.

Every day, every senior will experience a choice, a smile, a need met, a laugh, a hug, or an opportunity to grow, learn or teach. This facility is single storey with 11 publicly subsidized Assisted Living units.
